Accessories

Vitalair can provide a wide variety of accessories for use with oxygen equipment, free of charge. All of these items can be delivered by one of our Patient Service Representatives.

Face Masks

We can provide a wide variety of face masks, suitable for both adults and babies depending upon prescription requirements.

Cannula

It is recommended that you change your cannula every 2-4 weeks. The Patient Service Representative can provide you with replacement or spare cannula the next time they visit your home. Alternatively, you can contact the Vitalair team 0800 136 603 and we can post a spare cannula direct to your home.

Flowmeters

If you require a low flow rate then your medical practitioner should advise us so that we can deliver the appropriate flowmeter along with the rest of the oxygen equipment.

Flowmeters can be connected to either a standard portable cylinder or concentrator to provide low flows (0.1 - 1 litres per minute) or ultra low flows (0 - 0.2 litres per minute).

Carrying Devices

Vitalair can provide either a carry bag or a lightweight trolley* to help you go out and about more easily and so lead as full a life as possible.

Two carry bags have been specifically designed for the lightweight cylinder and the standard portable cylinder. Both bags incorporate a carry handle and two rucksack-style straps. An external pocket has been incorporated in order to hold an oxygen conserving device.

(*A trolley is an alternative for patients who find carrying oxygen cylinders difficult. The trolley is both lightweight and easily manoeuvrable which will help you to continue with your daily activity. This item may carry a charge)
